actual state of case

I don't have too much time to spare on this, but this is how the case is looking so far, it is not that bad...

no tengo mucho tiempo para dedicarle a esto, pero es asi como se ve el case hasta ahora, no esta tan mal...


i hope i can buy new cutting disks, they are a little expensive, so ill have to save, but i'm finishing this thing, there's no doubt in that!

espero poder comprar nuevos discos para cortar, son un poco caros asi que ahorrare, pero de que estoy terminando esto, no hay duda en eso!

Working again with the case...

After a little pause, i managed to make two of the four main openings in the window... it ain't coming that bad after all, huh..

Despues de una pequeña pausa, pude hacer dos de los cuatro agujeros principales de la ventana... no esta saliendo tan mal despues de todo jeje.


I guess i have to hurry if i want to use it as display in the Games Con 08 on september 13

Creo que debo apurarme si quiero usarla de exhibicion el dia de la Games Con 08 el 13 de septiembre.

Working with the window

Been working on the design today, which i made in photoshop, with all the details that will be on the window. Made it from some abstract wallpapers and merge them into a single image, cleared the things i didn't want and there it is. Also, i cleaned the paint work on the panel so i can work it easily, and then drew the design on it, to start cutting tomorrow. Check it below.

Estuve trabajando en el diseño ahora, el cual hice en photoshop, con todos los detalles que estaran en la ventana. Lo hice de algunos wallpapers abstractos los que uni en una sola imagen, quite las cosas que no queria y ahi esta. Tambien, ahora removi la pintura en el panel para poder trabajarlo mas facilmente, y dibujé el diseño sobre él, para empezar a cortar mañana. Aqui esta abajo.
I also printed the design on paper and applied tape on it, so i can cut it and the paste it over the panel, to cut it with a saw, check it down there :)

Tambien imprimi el diseño en papel y aplique cinta transparente encima, para cortarlo mas facilmente y pegarlo sobre el panel, despues cortarlo con una sierra, aqui abajo :)

Case Modding

Well, this is the case of my computer, not very impressive, but we'll try to fix that. I believe that after three years, we can bring it back to life and make it shine.

Bueno, para empezar, este es mi chasis de la compu... no muy impresionante, pero trataremos de arreglar eso, creo que despues de 3 años, podemos devolverle la vida y dejarlo resplandeciente.

This is the design I made in photoshop for the left window, which i hope to start tomorrow. I'll be updating my advance in the modding, I hope everything comes out all right.

Este es el diseño que le dare a la ventana lateral, la cual espero empezar mañana, ire actualizando los avances en la construccion y a ver como queda todo.
